There's two to wash
There's two to dry,
There's two who argue
There's two who cry.

One's in the mud
Having a ball
The other holds a crayon
Another marked wall.

Some days seem endless
My patience grows thin.
Why was I chosen
To be a Mother of Twins?

The answer comes clear
At the end of each day,
As I tuck them in bed
And to myself I say.

There's two to kiss
There's two to hug.
And best of all
There's two to love.

Most parents get around to joining a club after their babies are born, but we recommend contacting a club in your area BEFORE the birth of the babies. First, you will probably have more time to read and learn about  multiple birth prior to the babies' arrival, and our clubs has a library to help satisfy the drive to learn more. Second, it is possible to gather good, used equipment and clothing through the club, thus saving some money for other infant care necessities. Finally, you need to establish a relationship with the members so you don't find yourself struggling through the early problems with no one to turn to for advice, hints, suggestions.

While expectant mothers should follow their health care provider's advice and instructions, the biggest benefit to joining a mothers/parents of twins and triplets club is the opportunity to interact with other parents who have gone through a similar experience. There's nothing as helpful to new or expectant parent as talking to another parent who has "been there."

Did you know.....

Up to 22 % of twins are left-handed.

In the non-twin population the number is just under 10%
